May 31, 2016 - FC Durham Academy's 2004 Boys participated in the 2016 Erie Memorial Day Classic Tournament on May 28th and 29th. We entered two teams into the top two divisions, Premier and Challenge respectively.

The boys participating in the Challenge Division and were very unlucky not to advance out of their group. Their final two games ended in a tie. They could have won both games with a little bit of luck as they were pressing for the winner in both games.

The boys also participated in the Premier Division finishing second in their group with a 2-1-1 record.

After the 4 tough group games the Boys left no doubt of their dominance in the Final, Defeating MSA Gold  4-1 , the team they lost to the group stage.

Their will to compete and ability to combine with teammates to move the ball around the park proved to be their keys to success.
