2019 FCD Graduate

January 14, 2019 - We are proud to announce that Skylar Grey will be attending the University of Windsor and suiting up for the men's soccer team in the OUA Western Division. Skylar will be studying Business.

Tom Croft our Boy's Academy Manager says "Skylar has been with FC Durham Academy (FCD) since its inception and in that time, he has predominantly played as a lone striker while being versatile enough to play in the left or right wide positions.  As a striker, Skylar has enjoyed a lot of success by hitting the back of the net on many occasions.  He has become comfortable in playing with his back to goal and in holding up the play but his strength is his ability to use his pace and footwork to run at defenders and beat them.  Skylar's physical attributes coupled with his technical tools will serve him well with the Lancers."

Special thanks to Coach Dario for all of his hard work.

Congratulations Skylar and the Grey Family

2019 FCD Graduate

January 14, 2019 - We are proud to announce that Eric Robinson has accepted an offer to study and play at Brock University in the OUA.  Eric has been with FC Durham Academy (FCD) since the beginning and has served as the 2001B captain for the past two seasons.  Eric will be studying Computing and Network Communications at the St Catharine's based school. One of the key attractions for Eric to the school was the co-op program that is offered.

Tom Croft our Boy's Academy Manager says "Aside from being an excellent student, Eric has established himself  as a very good defender, anchoring the defensive line for our 2001B.  His attributes of pace, aggressiveness and ability to read the game, combined with very good feet, have made him a standout for this group.  While primarily playing as a center back, he has also spent time playing as a full back with the older FCD teams.  We will be looking forward to watching Eric's progress as he moves into the next phase of his soccer development."

Special thanks to Coach Dario for all of his hard work

Congratulations to Eric and the Robinson family

2019 FCD Graduate

January 14, 2019 - We are proud to announce that Kyle Nutt will be attending University of Guelph, where he will play for the Guelph Gryphons men's team that plays in the western division of the OUA.  The Guelph soccer program has been consistently one of the best in the province and Kyle is being brought in as a full back. Kyle's focus of study will be Animal Biology.

Tom Croft our Boy's Academy Manager says "Kyle joined the academy in the fall of 2017 and has played as a defender.  His versatility has seen him play across the back line where he is equally comfortable in either fullback position or center back position.  He is strong in the air, clears his lines and is calm with the ball at his feet.  Starting position is very good and he loves the game. In the Guelph program, Kyle has a huge opportunity to take his game to a very high level and it will be exciting to see him develop during his university career."

Special thanks to Coach Dario for all of his hard work

Congratulations to Kyle and his Family
