April 5, 2018 - FC Durham Academy is very pleased and proud to announce that Addrian Knights-Browne from the 2001 FC Durham boys team Coached by Dario Gasparotto  has verbally accepted an offer to continue his studies and soccer with the University of Hartford Hawks who play out of the America East conference.  Addrian will join the program in the fall of 2019.

Tom Croft our Academy Manager says "Addrian has been with the FC Durham Academy since it's inception where he has shown continuous, progressive development.  From his current coach ' Addrian is a very versatile player who can play in any position including goal. Good attributes are his ability to take players on 1v1 and to play on both sides of the ball. he can strike with both feet and his fitness levels are excellent, ensuring that he can go the full 90 at a high level.  Best attribute is his love for the game and the time and effort that he puts into it.  What I am most proud is his recognition of the importance of getting it done in the classroom where he is carrying a solid GPA which has steadily improved since his first year in high school.  The Hawk program is very fortunate to get Addrian and Addrian is very fortunate to go to such a good school and program'."
