January 19, 2018 - FC Durham Academy would like to congratulate 2018 Graduating 2000G Fullback Megan Ongteco on her commitment to the University of West Alabama in Livingston, Alabama. Megan will be joining the Tigers in 2018 playing in the GSC Conference.

Our Girls Director of Coaching Rocky Sasitharan says "Megan is a true modern day fullback in every sense of the word, her combination of elite athletic tools and elite technical ability will allow her to be a difference maker in any environment. Her technical ability makes her a threat to create plays at any moment. Megan's work ethic and high standards for her self are always on display at both training and games.  Her commitment to both her development and this academy has been unwavering. She has epitomised what it means to work hard regardless of circumstance. Megan's selflessness is a virtue and is always on display in her interactions with everyone she comes in contact with. We look forward to helping her prepare for her next steps at UWA!"
