May 12, 2017 - Congratulations to FC Durham Academy 2017 Graduating Midfielder Melanie Hoekstra on signing with Carleton University!

Rich Hirst our Girl's Academy Manager says "I have known Melanie since she was 11 years old and coming from a true soccer family, she has developed into a dominating holding central midfielder.  Melanie has great technical ability, vision and ball winning presence.  I am proud of the person and player she has become and having the opportunity to watch her grow over the past 7 years has been extremely moving.  I am excited to see Melanie contribute immediately as a Raven!"
