Congratulations to FC Durham Academy (FCD) 2020 Graduate Nyeemah Prescod-Beckles on signing her National Letter of Intent (NLI) with Jacksonville State University (JSU)!

JSU is located in Jacksonville, Alabama and the Gamecocks compete in the NCAA Division 1 Ohio Valley Conference (OVC). Nyeemah will be joining 4 other FCD Graduates from our 2017, 2018 and 2020 graduating classes.

Rich Hirst our Girl's High-Performance Manager said "She joined FCD in October 2018 and has developed at a rapid pace in those 20 months within our program. From an evaluation aspect at her first trial, it was clear that she had dominating physical attributes to succeed at the next level. Her main developments have been in many areas of technical, tactical and psychological to allow her to play at a fastest paced level. Without a doubt she was extremely successful during this time. In our 2019 season, Nyeemah scored goals at ALL 3 levels of play in the Ontario Women's Soccer League (OWSL) U21 and it was exciting to witness this growth as she took on each challenge. We are extremely proud of this "next step" accomplishment and are excited to watch her continued development and contribution at JSU."
