Congratulations to FCD 2020 Graduating Defender Jessica Myers on her verbal commitment to York University!

Rich Hirst our Girls High-Performance Manager says "Jessica has played with FCD for 3 years and is also a member of the Guyana U20WNT that has qualified for the CONCACAF U20 World Cup Qualifying.  She has worked diligently through the college bound process, visiting and communicating with schools in both Canada and the United States and we are happy she has found a university that fits her personal criteria.  At FCD we do physical testing that tests speed, acceleration, agility, endurance, upper body strength etc and she has been our highest "overall" ranked female athlete for the last 2 years.  Jessica is a well-rounded player that gives you a bit of everything as a full-back.  York is a highly ranked university in the OUA with a tradition of winning and we are confident the she can play a important role with the Lions."
