March 6, 2018 - FC Durham Academy would like to congratulate 2000G Rightback Abby MacDonald on her commitment to Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. Abby will be joining Skidmore College in the summer of 2018, playing in the Liberty League Conference. 

Abby is a dynamic fullback that brings a great attacking influence to the game from a traditionally defensive position. A very competitive player, Abby has constantly worked hard to achieve this milestone in her career overcoming many obstacles along the way. Academics have always been at the forefront of her decision making throughout this process and Skidmore College will give her a platform to accomplish her academic endeavours. Her belief in herself and the work she puts in has elevated her to this position. Making the enormous commitment to travel from Toronto 4 times a week to be apart of our program, we at the academy are incredibly  proud of her.  We look forward to helping her prepare for her next steps at Skidmore College !
