September 28, 2016 - FC Durham Academy (FCD) Staff and Members would like to welcome our new Director of Coaching Development Steve Simmonds to the Academy!

Steve is an excellent addition to the technical leadership at FCD, as he comes to us with experience in coaching and player development as well as a professional approach to the environment.  

He will be working closely with our Academy Managers, Technical Director and Directors of Player Development to ensure the programming offered is second to none.  Steve will be responsible for all coaching development, coaching our 2004B and 2008B Academy Teams and the technical delivery of all supplemental training programs/camps/clinics offered at the FC Durham Academy Training Centre (ATC). We are excited to have him join us in the position and know he will be impactful as we take the Academy to another level again.
